Hi guys, not specifically linked to Simon Le Bon, but as I couldn't find a "contact us" button.... Just wanted to let you know that I listen to your podcast all the way from the Netherlands. Every day during my 1.5 hour train commute I listen to a variety of podcasts, and yours is the one that takes me back to my teen years. Man, your podcast of Breakfast Club made me pull out the DVD and watch it again (for the xth time... even though my wife doesn't understand why I like the movie).Anyway, your episode on Journey also brought memories from my early LP records. If you ever decide to do an item on Toto (yeah, you remember Africa, Rosanna and Hold the line), let me know. I am the webmaster of the Toto Encyclopedia and a walking book of trivia on that band. Yep, they are still around and especially popular in Northern Europe and Asia. Last year they did a European tour attracting 600,000 attendees.Keep up your great podcasts!Dennie Heye (dennie [at] heye.nl

I met Simon Le Bon at a party once for about five minutes back in the 80s. It was at the MTV 1984 New Year's Rockin' Eve Ball. He and John Taylor were looking at Jody Watley's butt and mumbling something naughty under their breath. I busted them and they started howling with laughter. They were really cool about it and made great fun of themselves with me. They weren't stuck up or pretentious at all. I always remember that when I think of them. How cool they were. Belated Happy Birthday, Simon! :D

I "met" Simon backstage in the green room at Ruth Eckerd Hall several years ago but he wouldn't stop doing his vocal exercises long enough to talk to anyone. It didn't help his voice much. Nick - the love of my life - was much more personable.
