Matthew Broderick gets walked all over

Matthew Broderick gets his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today. My question is: He didn't have one there already?!? Nutcases Kirstie Alley and Dom DeLuise have stars there already! (So does Journey, but hey, THAT'S deserved!)

So Broderick and Producers co-star Nathan Lane get their reward today. The only way 80s fans can sleep at night is by believing this oversight was completely accidental. Yeah, everyone MUST have assumed they were already on the Walk of Fame, right?

Here's an idea: A Walk of Fame for 80s stars. We'll put it in fictional Shermer, Illinois. I'm taking nominations now for the inaugural class of inductees. I'm thinking Broderick, John Cusack and the entire Brat Pack of Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall, Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Demi Moore, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy. And, and John Hughes, of course!
