Back where they belong
Guess who's back near the top of the charts? Yeah, it's Rush. And check your calendars. It's a quarter-past the '80s, folks.
"Snakes and Arrows" debuted at the No. 3 spot on the Billboard 200 this week. It is also Rush's highest debut since 1993 and the band's 11th top 10 album in the United States.
Rush is backing up their album with a world tour set to kick off in June in Florida (including a June 16 date at Tampa's Ford Amphitheatre.) They've also released a video for the first single off the disc -- "Far Cry." Click here to view it.
Times pop critic and Stuck in the 80s co-host Sean Daly is busy formulating his review of the album. Check back in a couple days for a taste of his upcoming article.

Wow - thanks, Steve.
I think that Tom Sawyer would be ideal, and Subdivisions is a must. As a matter of fact, Subdivisions may be the best comment on the times of the 80s ever written.

Ask him if the story in the song Red Barchetta is true, and if not what was the inspiration.
I just got Snakes & Arrows, and it is their best in years. Far Cry rocks!

Ask him about the origin of the song "Spirit of Radio"...I had heard it was written for a theme song for a local Toronto station, but that seems kinda far fetched. Inquiring minds want to know!
for my mind the holy trinity of Rush albums is: 2112, Moving Pictures and Signals. And I have a soft spot in my heart for the song "The Trees"

Hey Petey -- We're working on a Rush podcast. Already have a request in to interview Geddy Lee. Should know something soon! What songs do you want to hear?
