Health problems stall Asia reunion tour
The reunion of the original members of Asia will have to take an unexpected break. The band announced over the weekend that the second leg of its North American tour has been postponed because of a heart condition by vocalist/bassist John Wetton.
According to the band, Wetton, 58, was diagnosed with advanced coronary disease and will require an angiogram and possibly open heart surgery. He's expected to make a full recovery.
"God didn't save my from drowning only to beat me on the beach," Wetton said in a statement. "I look forward to getting back on tour."
The canceled dates included stops in Western Canada and the Western United States. Those shows will be added to the band's planned tour for 2008.

All kidding aside, God bless the guy. Hope he gets better ASAP. I'm not that mean-spirited.
