Cause of death: Cocaine overdose

Dubrowquietriot The test results are back: Quiet Riot singer Kevin Dubrow died of an accidental cocaine overdose, according to a report by the Associated Press.

Toxicology results were received Monday, according to a coroner in Las Vegas, where the 52-year-old singer died on Nov. 25 at his home.

Friends say Dubrow had been leading a clean and sober life for the last few years, so the results are somewhat surprising. According to one report, Dubrow had been dead for six days before his body was found.

Lori Lee Samson, who was either Dubrow's ex-girlfriend or his fiancee -- depending on who you listen to, was reportedly the last person to see him alive. Samson told KTNV that Dubrow texted her with his last words.

"At 2:40 am Monday he texted me 'I love you so much,' " Samson told the ABC affiliate.

Cocaine!

Yes, I went there.

Tragic death = a sure spot in the joke that is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Boy, Lori Lee Samson sure does seem to be working this whole thing pretty hard. I'd never heard of her before, but now every time this story is mentioned, there she is.

This is just sad. I was so hoping that drugs were not involved.

Me too Bassnote, I was hoping it was natural causes. Another sad and tragic death.

How do you overdose on cocaine? There was a time when I did more cocaine than I could even imagine... never even came close to anything bad happening.

I can totally see if there was a second drug that conflicted or something along those lines... but cocaine alone???

I suppose maybe if he was shooting it. Anytime a needle is involved stupid stuff can happen... air pockets, etc.

I always snorted, so I guess I come from a unique vantage point.

MANMAN.... Maybe you can start some classes to all the hair band dirt rockers who would like to learn how to use cocaine in the "proper" manner?!?!? I don't think i'd be too proud of your drug "skills"

I love the phrase "Accidental (drug) overdose."

I knew a guy who would frequently douse himself with gasoline and then light matches. He accidentally burned to death.

Darwin FTW.
