Chat with us next podcast!
Stuck in the 80s is throwing a New Year's Eve podcast -- and you're invited. This Thursday, Dec. 20, at noon eastern time, Sean Daly and I will open the podcast studio phone line and take your calls while we record our weekly show.
We'll be discussing our favorite 80s songs for New Year's Eve -- along with special guest-host Stephanie Hayes (who so brilliantly filled in for Sean on his blog while he was vacationing.) But we also want to hear your favorite New Year's Eve stories and the songs that go with it. No good stories? Then fire away with a trivia question and see if we live up to expectations.
So plan to give us a ring between noon and 1pm Eastern time on Thursday, Dec. 20. We only have one phone line in the studio, so if it's busy, keep trying. We'll try to squeeze in as many callers as possible. The studio number (which is sadly not toll free) is (727) 892-2655.

Sean gives suggestions on what we can call to talk about. Whatever will my choice be?
I probably won't get through. I'll have to call from my cell in the employee bathroom because it's the only place I'd be left alone...then rumors will start about "marissa was in the bathroom giggling and talking...for a lonnnnnnng time ::wink wink::"

I'll do my best to call. The rumors may fly about my alone time in the bathroom, but heck! You guys are worth it.

"Yes, my refrigerator is running..."

"What do you mean she's escaped?"

Noon is just not going to work for me, mmmkay? Do you think you could move it to 1pm instead?
How long will you be taking calls? I don't usually get lunch until 1230 or so.
Trivia questions? Hmmmm

Sean mentions a Nude Spears while you're taking calls for the podcast... hmmm does that mean that clothing is optional for the rest of the 80's nation during the calls too?? heh heh
Seriously though, I will do my absolute best to call in on Thursday, but with the holidays coming.. all of my companies clients have their panties in a wad to get there publications done. So I'll be busy, busy, busy! Hope to talk to you, Sean & Stephanie Thursday!

What kind of trivia? Help me out Steve.....I don't want to sound like a bumbling fool live.
I'll try to call, I'll see if my people will speak to your people.

We're happy if anyone calls and justs suggests a song for our New Year's Eve playlist. No need to torture us with trivia!
And, Gen. McArthur ... we'll probably still be taking calls until about 1:30 eastern time.

There were probably squeals of delight at the news you're taking calls longer.
I'll be calling from my pretty pink cell phone as I'm cruising to work. Not what I'd typically recommend, but a girl's gotta do, what a girl's gotta do!

Hey guys, it was good talking to you! Bad reception here, which is why I apparently sounded like Darth Vader! I'll have to leave a voicemail sometime down the line when I'm in an area with better reception!
