let us not forget that Mr. Astley gets a nice shout out in the Mojo Nixon classic: "Debbie Gibson Is Pregnant With My Two-Headed Love Child". In fact the whole second verse is about him. I don't remember the exact wording but there was something about being "a pantywaist" and having "teeny tiny two inches of terror". Leave it to Mojo!

Ha! That's funny. I remember the first time I saw Rick Astley after only hearing him on the radio. What a surprise that was. The sound was soulful; yet, very white bread. His look? Not the sexy dude I had imagined, but still cute in an Opie sort of way.
