Is George finally ready for the U.S.?

George Michael has been selling out arenas, stadiums, maybe even entire ZIP codes during his current European tour. But fans here in the United States have been teased for two years now: Is he or is he not coming to perform here?

It looks like it's finally a done deal. According to sources, George has booked the TD Banknorth Garden Arena in Boston on July 27. And a date soon after at New York's Madison Square Garden will be filmed for a live concert DVD.

In the meantime, George continues to make guest appearances on TV's "Eli Stone." He's scheduled to perform (and possibly act) on the March 13 episode.

OMG, I saw him back in '87 on the Faith tour. He's still got it. That performance was stellar (and not many people can pull off a Queen song)! I only wish we could hear what Randy, Simon, and Paula would say about it.

I am loving Eli Stone. Such a great, well written, well acted show.

I'd be curious what the price is on those GM tickets. What the hell am I talking about? I never go to concerts. ugh.

Depending on the price of the tix... I would go! Love GM during the Faith days. I wore out the cassette! LOL

I would settle for his albums actually being released in the states.

He's not likely to sell many tickets when people think he's been MIA for years.

Here in Europe I bought tickets from US$ 60 to US$ 600 to see him last year. It depends on the venue and the type of ticket you manage to grab. He's unbelievable I can't wait to see him again!
