Divorce already? What 'cho talkin' about?

It is with great sorrow and complete humility that I announce this tragic news: Newlywed Gary Coleman is set to get a divorce from his wife of less than year (and who's about half his age).

The 40-year-old Diff'rent Strokes star and his 22-year-old wife, Shannon Price, will appear on TV's "Divorce Court" on May 1 and 2, according to the Associated Press. The couple wed in August 2007 after meeting on the set of the comedy flick  "Church Ball."

Among the issues they'll discuss with Judge Lynn Toler: Gary's intimacy issues and their monthly fights.

"If he doesn't get his way, he throws a temper tantrum like a 5-year-old does," says Price, according to a show transcript given to the AP. "He bashes his head in the wall, too."

Shocking. Knock me over with a feather.

Best part: their "monthly" fights. As if their altercations are inked in on the calendar.

Royalty checks only go so far...

Say it isn't so.

Never. Saw. This. Coming.

If those two kids can't make it, what hope is there for the rest of us?

Maybe Mr. Drummond could sit down with them and clear things up with a nice talk. Did wonders for Todd Bridges and Dana Plato.

"Gary's intimacy issues" ~ Considering he's half her size, and err umm, yeah.

On the one hand, she has raised issues that would be of legitimate concern to any reasonable person. On the other hand, she married Gary Coleman.

...and "Divorce Court" is such a nice touch for the ending.

She thought that different strokes meant something else.

I was gonna say, "didn't they only get married last week?".

Too Funny! What people will do to get on TV! Poor Gary, Lost fame, no one cares! Darn that hurts doesn't it?

Did anyone catch the interview with Gary and his then new bride some time ago on the Today show? He actually tried to get everyone to believe that he now found someone who gets him and is sure not to turn on him.

he has a short temper and a shortfuse among other things
