Mrs. Garrett still teaches "Facts of Life"

Garrett_2 Actress Charlotte Rae -- aka "Mrs. Garrett" on "The Facts of Life" -- has a cameo appearance in Adam Sandler's upcoming movie, "You Don't Mess with the Zohan."

We all know Sandler loves the 80s and squeezes as much classic music into each of movies as possible. But if don't want to spoil the surprise of Mrs. Garrett's role -- or if you just prefer not to toss your breakfast -- please, read no further ...

Last warning ...

"We make love together," the 82-year-old Rae told AP Television this week. "On a table from one to 10, I rate him, 'Not bad.' "

"Zohan" is set for release on June 6. In it, the AP says, Sandler plays an horn-doggin' Israeli commando who goes undercover as a hair stylist. No word yet on if he's capable of doing the trend-setting "Blair" look.

I always knew Mrs. Garrett was a minx. She was, perhaps, the first cougar. I'll bet she and Mr. Drummond polished the hardwood when Arnold, Willis and Kimberly were at school.

That's it. Breakfast is lost.

I'm doing my part of helping the 80s nation watch their mid-sections.

Thanks Marissa. I don't need much help...it stares me in the face all day long.

I love that Charlotte Rae -- she really is one sassy Molassy. She's up there with Bea Arthur in my book. I love that she publicly slandered Joan Collins, that's really enough for me. Oh, Charlotte, the webs we weave...

Me too, Kate. Miss Rae rocks. I love the phrase sassy molassy -- so appropriate.

(PS: Bea Arthur. Also rocks.)

Ah! Bea Arthur! I don`t know Charlotte Rae.I never watched the facts of life here in Portugal, but i did watch Golden Girls.
Have you guys seen an How I Met Your Mother episode where some idiots were discussing who would they pick from the cast of Golden Girls to..... you know! I think the majority voted on Bea Arthur.
Ah! Steve, maybe lunch will be lost too, hem?

Marissa, thank you for the best laugh I have had this week!! What a visual!

Debra! I'm so happy to oblige the blogosphere with a giggle now and then.

Charlotte Rae was on the new ep of ER lat night as well- she's clearly in a career renaisance! (Though the description of her bit in the new Adam Sandler movie does disturb the he11 out of me!)
