Cinderella cancels tour

Cinderella_2 Cinderella has canceled its U.S. tour with Warrant and Lynch Mob, including a July 25 date at the St. Pete Times Forum.

"Cinderella's Tom Keifer's left vocal cord has hemorrhaged, thereby making it impossible for him to sing in the immediate future," Cinderella's management said today in a statement sent to promoters. The accident happened during tour rehearsals on Wednesday, and doctors have said it could be three weeks before they can determine the proper treatment.

All buyers who hold tickets for the July 25 show can bring their tickets to the original point of purchase for a full refund, according to the St. Pete Times Forum.

"One song he ran around playing the piano, then guitar and back to the piano." Whoopdee doo....so can Barbara Mandrell and her sisters. So, Cinderella's now a Vegas act?!? Who cares, anyway?

Stacey

I saw them last year with Poison. They put on an awesome show. Tom Keifer was great. I hope he gets well soon so they can reschedule.

Eric S.

This is disappointing. I saw Cinderella a few years ago at the Forum. They were great and Tom was awemsome. Couldn't believe how many instruments he could play. One song he ran around playing the piano, then guitar and back to the piano. Great stuff.

Also would have been fun seeing Lynch Mob. George Lynch used to be a great guitarist. Not sure if I would call him that now though. First album was pretty good.

The concert wouldn't have sold out. Very few do at the Forum. It would have gotten a decent turnout I would say.

I'm with Michael and nicely put. This kind of sucks, they were set to do a gig here in Springfield,Mo and I was really looking forward to it.

dont let the look of cinderella fool you, they were a great blues based rock band. ive seen them a few years ago with poison, and they were awesome. well its the original guys, both cinderella and warrant.

Michael

Would be nice to see Lynch Mob at a small club. I would pay top dollar for that. George Lynch is an awesome guitarist.

"Tom Keifer's left vocal cord has hemorrhaged" -- jeez, how could they tell? Have you ever *heard* "Don't Know What You Got ('Til It's Gone)"?

Spears

You never know with hair metal acts. The Forum here in Tampa is our biggest indoor venue, so obviously they expected a big crowd.

John Hays

So how big was this concert going to be? Sold out? Barely anyone? I'm not a hair metal fan, so I don't know how many folks still follow these guys.
