You wreck me, Tom Petty
The glow of this week's Tom Petty concert here in Tampa has yet to wear off, so the timing seems right to show off our latest Stuck in the 80s episode: Our tribute to T.P. and his rock-god friends the Heartbreakers.
Podcast co-host and pop-music critic Sean Daly and I have been spending our office hours productively by jumping out around corners here, yelling "You wreck me, baby!" at startled coworkers. Sure, they're upset for a little while, and a couple of times we had to call the paramedics. But it's not our fault that we're under the influence of a true '80s rock legend.
Click here to download the show. Or click here to get all our shows for free via iTunes. Please leave us some feedback too. But don't blame us if, once the show is over, you keep singing "Oh, yeah, you wreck me, baby! You break me in two! But you move me, honey! Yes, you do!"

Man I'm glad you put this out today! I'm going out of town for a few days and won't have computer access. I can put this baby on the iPod and listen to it all weekend. Thanks Steve!

Steve & Sean - Not a fan of Tom Petty at all! But it's hard to deny his influence over the past few decades. Looking forward to listening to the podcast. I may wish the radio station would stop playing T.P., but I can't get enough Stuck in the 80s!!

Buffalo Jeff -- I'll admit I'd lost a little love for T.P. over the years, but I went to the concert thinking it was a not-to-miss event.
And basically I fell in love all over again. It was a religious experience. Seriously. Even songs I'd never heard before -- like "Mystic Eyes" -- were incredible.

Steve & Sean! Once again a thoroughly amusing & delightful show. I totally bombed the quiz. Then again, I didn't even bother attempting it.
I'm not a huge TP fan (although I often use tp), but fully sensed your excitement of being there. Mind you, not the same sort of excitement you may have experienced being sammiched between 2 women.
*I just threw up a little*

FANTASTIC PODCAST GENTLEMEN! I never lost the love for Tom Petty. I've seen him lots over the years, but the best bang for my buck was in the 80s in Chicago with Elvis C opening.

A $6.00 BUDGET SHOW no less, $3.00 Tom ~ $3.00 Elvis. Very fair.

Well, great show guys. You certainly portrayed the excitement you got out of the show. Me, I'm not a fan of Tom Petty -- while he can write a decent song, I think it's his voice that does me in. Way too whiny.
Glad you had a blast -- it made for an entertaining podcast.

I wasn't able to get to the podcast until today, but I still have to say "Great show!" (and not just because you used my listener greeting).
