A little Wang Chung for your Friday
The official Stuck in the '80s list of best movie songs is ready for unveiling. But first, a little tease. This oft-forgotten song by Wang Chung did indeed make the list ....
... But where is it on the list? Top 40? Top 20? Barely inside the Top 80?
You want some added drama? The following songs DID NOT make the list:
- If You Were Here - Thompsons Twins (Sixteen Candles)
- The Living Daylights - a-ha (The Living Daylights)
- Eaten by the Monster of Love - Sparks (Valley Girl)
- Endless Love - Lionel Richie and Diana Ross (Endless Love)
- Neutron Dance - Pointer Sisters (Beverly Hills Cop)
- Bat Dance - Prince (Batman)
Stay tuned for the final list!

Too bad about "If you were here" not making the list.
We used to do that one...
But Bat Dance?
Thank the '80s gods it didn't make the list.
Although I think Spaulding put it on our rotation to play...
I need to go check....

To Live And Die In LA is top 20 material, no doubt in my mind.
This is a great soundtrack - if I remember correctly you and Sean discussed it waaaay back in your two-part 80s soundtracks podcasts.

Oh thank god Endless Love did not make the list. That is the 80s song that if I never have to hear again it will be too soon.
But I gotta say, I love Batdance. Keep bustin'.
