Literally the coolest music video ever
Here's the video that's causing all the buzz lately on the Internet. It's called the "literal version" of a-ha's Take on Me video -- the lyrics have been changed to simply describe what's going on in the video. Dustin McLean, an award-winning animator and musician whose work has appeared on TV's Bravo and BBC networks, is the mastermind behind it.
"Holy cow, the Take On Me video is BLOWIN' UP!," McLean writes on his Web site. "I never imagined it would be so popular, in 3 days it's already up to 35,000 views and climbing very fast!"
McLean promises that similar videos are on the way soon.

Genius! Genius, I'm telling you!
Not only is it the coolest thing you've posted in quite awhile, but it feeds your insatiable desire to take shots at the a-hafia.

That was hysterical. I love the dialogue,"Stupid dine and ditchers! Makes me want to crumple something..."
"This guy's gonna get an a@@ full of pipe wrench!"
Very creative!

Guys i hate to say it, but i LOVE that song and when people put their own spin on it i love it more.
These guys from Finland did their version of it in a medley of other tunes.
It's hysterical and politically Incorrect.
Don't shoot the messenger.

brilliant, is all i can say. the only way that might have been better, was to get a-ha to sing the new lyrics.

Hahaha! Awesome.
Greatest part:
"They`re gunna beat you up with that pipe wrench
Climb through this hole
Show this guy then cut back to these two
You go through first
I`m gunna kick some a@@ with my own pipe wrench"

That was very cleaver! I won't look at the video the same way again. Say, I wonder what other 80s videos could be done like that.

I'd seen enough at "Grab the hand!"

The a-ha video spoof was hilarious, but the one Crockett posted almost made me wet myself laughing.

Too, too, funny... and I must admit the New Wheels on the Block
clip is some hilarious 80s stuff too!
I haven't felt so guilty for laughing since I saw TEAM AMERICA.

Kind of clever, but I don't see what's so great about it. No one loves the '80s more than me, but I'll take the Spitting Image puppets or Martin Short as Jackie Rogers, Jr. over this thing any day.

Our Vj came in one day and said, can we show this during the breaks in between sets. It's '80s and he showed it to me. I couldn't stop laughing either.
I wish Rubix Cubed could open for new wheels on the block at a Stuck in the '80s concert sometime.
We'd have to open, because after they played we wouldn't be able to stop laughing.
And yes, wetting yourself at a New Wheels show seems perfectly OK.

OMG, brilliant!!! We are laughing so hard at work right now, even my "I'm working please don't bother me" boss!

OMG that was awesome!!!

That was great! I've always loved that song and the video is fantastic. I hope the guy does more. Kind of along the Weird Al lines a bit.
