Michael Jackson plotting his comeback
Oh, he's wants to be startin' something. Michael Jackson is talking comeback ... again. The plastic surgery disaster wants to play a series of concerts this summer in London, according to the British media.
The spot would be London's O2 Arena, where Britney Spears and Prince made similar comeback attempts, the Associated Press reports.
For the record, Jacko's media people say any reports now are speculation, BUT a special announcement is coming Thursday. (Hello?!? Just confirm now, please! I'm sure this public relations train wreck has a bunch more stops to make.)
If you're hoping for a happy ending to all this, please remember that back in 2006, Jacko's last live appearance in Britain, he attempted to perform We Are The World at the World Music Awards but gave up after just a few lines.

FOR MICHAEL JACKSON:
I have read in some internet sites that u r still alive n that someone bumped at u n had d chance to talk to u. Well i hope that u really r alive. But i wanna tell u something..
I know that being d king of pops gives u a lot of pressure. u won't enjoy u'r life 2 d fullest. But michael, u don't have 2 be d person they want u 2 be. U don't have 2 wear a mask in front of the people around d world. Being u, urself is what makes u unique, what makes u pure. We r very different from one another. U don't have to think of what others may say with what u do or what u like. I mean come on, nobody in this world owns ur life, only God does. So get ur feet on d ground, love those who loves u. If some people hates u then be it, u'r u n they're them. Changing d real u won't make u happy. I know that living in this world with people saying that they love u won't assure u that they will ti'll ur worst times. But u know there r still people out there that loves you very much even at ur worst nightmares. Some that u have met n some that u haven't yet. Although saying these seem like talking to u, there's still a part in my heart saying that u r not here anymore. i can't stop crying n regretting d days that i never realized that i was a lovingly fan of urs. It's like my heart's gonna burst. I had never cried for someone whose an idol like these before, but u. Now that it's 2 late i've realized that u'r d only idol that i adored so much. But if u r really alive n reading this now. Please some back. Come back 2 us who loves u very much. We need u. We need u 2 stand for d people. We need u because we love u. We're here 2 back u up. Come back michael, u r not alone, just look around u u'll see d people who really cares n understands u. How can we change the wolrld for a better place if u'r not here with us? u said that heaven can wait but where r u now? Come back. We love u so much. Come back michael. This is in behalf of the people who really loves u. Think about the people who will become the next generation. I really hope n pray that u r still alive n i am willing 2 share d span of my life 2 u.

Prince is a very talented musician and is awesome in concert. And right now it seems Britney is actually making a decent comeback. Do you think if Britney's dad was given control of Mr. Michael Jackson's life and career, that Mr. Michael Jackson could actually get his life in order? I say Mr. Michael Jackson because Mr. Jason seems to be picky about how we address Mr. Michael Jackson and I do not want him upset. Prince Rules!!!!!!!!!!

The Associated Press states "where Prince made similar comeback attempts"...comeback!? He never went anywhere. Prince sold out 21 shows at the O2 arena back in 2007 plus performed one of the best Superbowl half-time shows in history earlier that same year. Prince has always been around, releasing an outstanding amount of music over the internet, selling out shows wherever he plays, number 1 album (3121) in 2006. I can understand MJ "attempting a comeback" because where the hell has he been? Get your facts straight Associated Press before putting the genius that is Prince in with the likes of MJ and the talentless Britney.

Actually, Mark, you need to make a correction: only in American can a poor black boy grow up to be a rich white woman.
Posted by: Jimbo | March 04, 2009 at 02:06 PM
I have to say, I am not a big fan of the name Jacko for MJ. It is not the most flattering of names for him. I thought it was the British press that originally coined that name for him. It was usually proceeded by the name Wacko. Not that Michael has done much to help himself overcome that moniker. I am a fan of Jackson's music but can't say he has done much in his personal life these past several years that made me like him much.

Michael Jackson....because only in America can a poor black boy grow up to be a rich white man....

But he is a sicko and freako........

Lighten up, "Jaso" ... LOL
Posted by: Steve Spears | March 04, 2009 at 09:01 AM
One last comment for Jason, who said he wasn't black? All I said is I prefer to remember him back when he was a young handsome black man from Thriller album. You should read the comments before twisting the words around. Perhaps you should ask J-A-C-K-O if you could join his press team.
Posted by: DerekT | March 04, 2009 at 07:53 AM
And how is Jacko slander? I could understand if Spearsy and I had said "Sicko" or "Freako", but Jacko? Is that a bad word or phrase in any language? It's just like saying Spearsy, it's just a nickname and with a name like Jackson, it isn't that bad at all. Oh, and thanks Don in Tulsa for the back up.
Posted by: DerekT | March 04, 2009 at 04:06 AM
Jason, a lot of reporters call him Jacko so it is a common nickname for him. In fact type in Jacko in Google and I bet several sites come up about MJ.
And what I meant about the special announcement being dumb was his press agent refusing to comment on something but then saying "wait till Thursday for a special announcement". Is just a stupid trick to try and keep the rumor mill rolling a few extra days to keep this comeback in the press. I take it you are a Michael Jackson fan and I am not, fine by me. But telling Spears to go to hell is a little out of line.

Anyone notice that every time he is supposed to go to court he "suddenly" gets sick? He is a joke and not a very good one.
Posted by: Tara | March 03, 2009 at 11:17 PM
I do not support child molesters. If those trials were in any other state he would be in jail right now. Even if you just look at the things he admitted (yes admitted. In court) he is a seriously disturbed individual.
How any of you can support this joke of a man is beyond me. Let me guess - his music transcends his personal life. Oh wait - he tries to put out a cd, refuses to support it, hides in other countries then blames everyone but himself.
Sorry but I will not support him based on the things he admitted doing. Why not take a look at that? Then tell me you support him.

what i meant was there is no such thing as bad press in his world.
Posted by: don in tulsa | March 03, 2009 at 11:09 PM
jann, sorry but you are wrong, i won't go chasing after him, even if you gave me free tickets i would not go see him. it's my personal opinion and i have zero desire to hear his music.
jason, first since you want to correct people it's "don in tulsa" not tulso. i don't understand why you get so upset when people don't like an artist that you like. if you don't then that's your opinion which you are entitled to. it doesn't lesson or invalidate you as a person if someone disagrees with you. people have different preferences and that's life. and by the way his press people played up that whole "jacko" thing just like they played up the deaths door thing. if you think they weren't behind it then you're kidding yourself. in his world no press is bad press. and actually my not wasting a dime on him may not hurt but ALL of those who feel the same, well, it adds up. enjoy yourself.

"And to have someone say that a special announcement is coming is just dumb." Yeah just like the comments you made. His name is JACKSON not "jacko" you got reading or hearing problems and he still has a nose and will FOREVER be black. Don In Tulso he never was on death's bed to begin with and maybe if you stopped always believing everything you read you'd know that. Yeah... like you not wasting a dime on him is gonna hurt him. Give me a break. As for you Steve Spears like I told DerekT his name is JACKSON J-A-C-K-S-O-N you got hearing or reading problems or you basically just know how to slander someone considering you called him "jacko" like 2 times but you know what steve go to hell.

It's a trip. The same people that keep hating on him are some of the main ones if they saw him in person, they'll be trying to run after him and everything. I will always love Michael Jackson. For those planning to go the concerts, see you there!!!

Right after I sent my last post, within seconds the Billy Jean video started playing on VH1, how ironic.
Posted by: DerekT | March 03, 2009 at 06:01 PM
I wonder if Jacko still has it anymore. If someone gave me a ticket, I may go, but I have never been a big Jacko fan. I had the chance to by Thriller or Sycroncity one day since I only had the money to buy one of them, and Police won out.
Don't get me wrong, in the 80's he was on top and I like some of his songs, heck Beat It even made it on Guitar Hero world Tour and it is a cool song to play by pushing colored buttons. But with all the drama that has happened since then and the fact he hasn't had a hit album since History makes me think it might be better to remember Mike when he had a nose and looked like a handsome young black man from the cover of Thriller then to see him attempt to recover his former glory. I may be wrong and he might just do a great comeback.
And to have someone say that a special announcement is coming is just dumb.

Jackson Schmackson. DAF have just announced a gig in London in March. Now that's an 80s gig worth going to.
Posted by: Jono | March 03, 2009 at 05:33 PM
so he was just on deaths door and now he's planning concerts? go ahead and spend your money if you must but i won't waste a dime on him.
oh and for martha, where are the muffins?

From nine to five I have to spend my time at work
The job is very boring, I'm an office clerk
The only thing that helps to pass the time away
Is knowing I'll be back at Echo Beach someday

Oops, by the way, I was at that World Music Awards ceremony in 2006. Utter disaster of an organisation of any event I've seen. They cut his mic the second the curfew of 11pm came around because they started 2 hours late.
Then earlier the rude crowd started booing Rihanna because she was so bad, but the press reported that they were booing Jackson, which was hardly likely since the entire audience was made up of his fans.

No doubt it'll be a mimefest, but I've seen him several times already and still love the adrenaline rush every time. I'll be up front as always.
*cue the people who hate him following this comment*
