Behold the magic of Marty McFly's house from 'Back to the Future'
I can still picture Michael J. Fox out front, drooling over his 4X4 truck and Jennifer. Special thanks to Stuck in the '80s So-Cal correspondent Brad Williams for sending a photo of the McFly house from 1985's Back to the Future. Here's his report:
Here's a picture I took last week of the McFly house, still standing at 9303 Roslyndale Ave. in lovely Pacoima, CA. It looks pretty much the same as it did in the movie, doesn't it? It is in a working-class neighborhood right off the freeway from my daily commute to and from work.
The trees that line the street, the power lines - it's all there. We have been talking about driving over and checking it out someday and we finally got around to it last week. I'm sure the people that live there now are pretty much sick of the whole thing. Anyway, enjoy.

Next time you're in SoCal, check out Ferris Bueller's house in Long Beach.

That is very cool. I am very much into that type of thing. Whenever I go to California I always have to check out famous movie locations. I have pictures of the Halloween house, which is actually on the same block as the Nightmare on Elmstreet House. The homes are right off of Sunset I want to say on Orange ave. And of course I have to mention being from Chicago that the new Nightmare on Elmstreet is being filmed outside of Chicago at Hersey Highschool. I have been to pretty much most of the Chicago movie locations, there are a few I still want to check out, I actually want to take a drive up to Woodstock, IL because they filmed Ground Hog's Day there.

Back to the Future is one of those classic movies that should never be remade. It is perfect just the way it is.

Thanks for taking this photo, I'm always fascinated by where certain movies are filmed... As in I've always wanted to see some Pics from the Pump Up The Volume High School staring Christian Slater, HHH. Anyone?

So where is the girl switching void? In Back to the Future 1 was a different girl playing his girlfriend and then Elizabeth Shue for 2-3. I figured somewhere in the driveway a time portal opened and the girl's genetic structure was changed. Still, cool seeing something that you have only seen in the movies or TV.

That´s cool,Brad.
But i might agree that the people living there don`t think the same.

If you go up to Pasco County (florida, north of Tampa) along SR 54 you'll see a ratty subdivision called Carpenter's Run, that's where those opening scenes of Edward Scissorhands were shot, that brightly colored subdivision with all those houses packed together ... It's in the Land O'Lakes area, next to the St. Pete Times bureau office

Me? Cranky? Au contraire, mon frere.
It is was a little (okay, a lot) surreal to stand there, looking for the DeLorean and the black 4x4.

Brad's been in a cranky mood lately. Nice to see he's mellowing out.
