Are we finally over Michael Jackson ... or just tired of zombie jokes?

Zombie First sign that the Michael Jackson story is no longer front-page news? Even the satirists and bloggers have stopped writing about him. (Umm, except this blog post. Don't I feel sheepish.)

The razor-sharp funny site MichaelJacksonisnowazombie.com hasn’t been updated since June 26.

“Looks like LaToya and Jermaine are going to be getting more of my stuff than I had specified in my will (WHICH WAS ZERO!!!!!),” the blogger named “MJ” wrote in one of the last entries. “This is NOT the news I needed to hear right now.”

Two other zombie sites — michaeljacksonisazombie.com and ismichaeljacksonazombie
yet.com — are merely shells now. (America is officially zombied out, we presume, or maybe they got some sternly worded letters from lawyers.)

But true to its name, Eternalmoonwalk.com is still online. But it remains to be seen how long can anyone really watch dance-challenged fans from Mexico City, Buenos Aires and elsewhere try to moonwalk for 10 feet.

I just think it was a shame that Farrah Fawcett's passing didn't receive any coverage compared to the circus that his death received.

I'm glad to hear that most of the MJ stuff is over. Nothing like beating a dead horse. He was a strange person and certainly that is most of what made him newsworthy. More people of note died that week than just him. He will only remain in the public eye because now his family can make money off him and he can't stop them. His father being a prime example.
How many of our military, or regular people that contributed to society without hoopla, died with little notice of their passing? I tried to avoid all of the TV 'memorials' and interviews because I found his image to be creepy, and the public fascination to be worse. He was a sad, sad caricature of the cute young man he once was. Maybe he has found peace, and all the pedophile stories will not become his childrens' inheritance.

Only in America can a poor black boy grow up to be a rich white man. I know why he died, though....he died once Farrah Fawcett said that her dying wish was for all children to be safe....

I know why he died, though...Farrah Fawcett said that her dying wish was that all children would be safe. The moment she said that, MJ died....

Only in America can a poor black boy from Indiana grow up and die a rich white man...

If the comments by some of the people on this blog is any indication, there must be some very ignorant people on here. There is not point in trying to talk sense to a bunch of ignorant dumbasses.

Sarah

Oh, I heard he died from food poisoning, he died from eating an 8 year old weiner!

Jacque

I heard he choked to death on a pair of 10 year old nuts.

The media's super glorification of the perverted pedophile (who desparately wanted to be white) is finally over, lets move on to more important stuff!

Patrick

The media has gone way too far in sensationalizing and speculating on Michael's death ever sense it happened. This part of the story needs to end. Michael's music and legacy will live forever no matter how hard people try to tear him down. Luckly nobody can hurt him anymore.

Brad

Put a fork in it, this story is done.

Countdown to the "I can't believe you're glorifying this pedophile" commenters will now begin...

Ian from Baltimore

snore - MJ is old news - He had his day (actually, his week). Lets collectively move on.
