Whew, it was a wild time, I'll tell you that! I needed the work week to recover! And the giant bruise I got from when I fell off the stage moments later (in front of 100,000 people) is a lovely rainbow color now, lots of purple and orange, ouch.

Chase's mug in the lower corner of the photo reminds me of those people who jump around and pace behind a reporter when they are doing live coverage. Jim Carrey did a hilarious skit with that topic on IN LIVING COLOR.
I have a couple friends who went to PRIDE in Chicago, but neither have given more information than how awesome it was.

Most excellent update, Chase!
RuPaul and Martha Wash (of The Weather Girls) headlined Capital Pride. With the help of 2 extremely accommodating riot grrrls, I was able to wend my way through an ecstatic crowd of 250,000 to about 3 rows in front of the stage.
With the Capitol in the background, the performances were outstanding, the energy incredible.
And yet all I kept thinking was, damn would I kill to have RuPaul’s body.
