'Fast Times' and Phoebe Cates named top nude scene of all time by Mr. Skin
Phoebe Cates' bikini-busting topless scene in Fast Times at Ridgemont High has been named the No. 1 celebrity nude scene of all time by the website Mr. Skin.
This confirms two things. 1) Co-star Judge Reinhold should now officially be acquitted of his actions in the bathroom afterward. 2) There's only one job better than writing Stuck in the '80s and that's obviously working at Mr. Skin, the very adult website that basically is in the business of pointing out exactly where to find celebrity nudity in mainstream Hollywood movies. (Call me!)
"This is the celebrity nude scene to which all other celebrity nude scenes must answer," Mr. Skin said in justifying its pick of Phoebe. "The power of this moment comes from a young star at her most beautiful, a sexy slow-motion build-up, and the relatable circumstance of a teenage crush on your sister’s hot friend. After Fast Times, Phoebe Cates never did a topless scene again. Her work was done!"
Only one other '80s scene landing in the Top 10 -- and no, it's not Jamie Lee Curtis in Trading Places (the obvious and correct pick). Instead, Mr. Skin chose to tap Kelly Preston -- no pun intended -- for the No. 6 spot for 1985's Mischief.

Apparently, Michelle Johnson was only 17 at the time of filming "Blame It on Rio" and required special parental permission. Normally, I'm a foreign movie-goer, but until now I did not know that Selma Hayek was nude in "Frida," the movie I will buy on digitally remastered director's cut DVD tomorrow morning on the way to work.

i'm surprised jamie lee isn't higher on the list. pardon me, but they were perfect. i'd have to agree with michelle johnson, she's simply gorgeous in that flick. actually she's gorgeous in gung ho as well, but no mr skin on that flick. blame it on rio is a great movie, not because of michelle, but because michael caine is a comedic genius.

Miguel, I agree with you, Jennifer Jason Leigh is much hotter in Fast Times!! I would toss in the movie Hotdog...there isn't one specific scene, just the whole movie.

There's something uniquely epic and life-affirming about Phoebe's scene in Fast Times. It's the realization of ever 15-year-old boy's dream. It's beautifully shot, Phoebe looks great and it has the Cars' "Moving in Stereo" behind it. That song never sounded the same again.

Bleh! Very limited list.Most of the nude scene are PG crap.90% of the greatest nude scenes of all time come from european movies.The real deal! For example in the 80s,Beatrice Dalle in "Betty Blue".And there`s only one shy appearance from Helen Mirren in the all list.Nothing from any Almodovar movie?
From american movies that you guys know better where is Jennifer Jason Leigh? Here nude scene in Fast Times is better for me that the Phoebe Cates one (very overrated that one).Phoebe did a better nude scene in "Paradise".

Also, I find it odd that Kate Winslett, a woman who apparently refuses scripts if she can't appear fully nude in the film, did not make the list. There isn't a woman in this world (save my wife) who I've seen naked more often.

What's with all the male junk in movies these days? I mostly blame Seth Rogan - but it's gotten way out of hand. No one wants to see that. Not even women want to see that.
BTW - my vote goes for Haley Berry in Monsters Ball. Remove Billy Bob and you have the greatest scene in movie history. Move over "rosebud".
