NEW TAMPA—November is National Family Caregivers Month, and many people know first-hand the challenges of providing in-home care for loved ones and family members.
ComForCare, a new in-home care provider, recently opened in Carrollwood to provide non-medical care to area residents who are elderly, disabled, living with dementia or recovering from injuries or surgery.
The agency aims to help maintain an independent lifestyle.
ComForCare has nearly 200 independently owned and operated locations in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.
This ComForCare office is led by owners David Eason and Ada Tapper, who holds a doctor of nursing practice degree and an advance registered nursing practice degree.
Tapper has more than 30 years of experience in the health care industry and is well-versed in providing high quality care to seniors.
"With unprecedented growth in the older population, there are many new ideas and changes in how we view and treat people as they age," Tapper said. "Our team at ComForCare of North Hillsborough welcomes the opportunity to help baby boomers transition to another phase in their lives while maintaining their independence and quality of life."
ComForCare offers services such as senior companionship, personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, medication reminders, family respite care and more.
ComForCare is located at 13902 N Dale Mabry Highway, Suite 216. For more information, call (813) 374-2567, or visit comforcare.com.
