I think the Trop is a fantastic, beautiful stadium, and I have been in a lot of them. I am hoping the nation will begin to appreciate how great a place it is.
Does that mean we all here in Pinellas County "owe" the people who bought the franchise that owns the players and pays them the second lowest gross wage in MLB a gift of say, half a billion or a billion bucks, on top of what we're gonna be paying out due to the "excessive greed" of the last decade and a half? In an economy that's already bleeding out, due in significant part to the grab-and-run franchise owners' "contributions" while they were part of the CDO crowd? So "the rich" can afford to go to a hot new stadium to "be seen," while "the poor" stay home and watch TV?
Which one, Rick? Mine, or the flick of the guy on the roof? Glad to have you back, good buddy -- looking forward to your inanity, insanity and ubiquity once again. Hope you had a pleasant break!
The Tampa Bay Rays continue to pursue plans for a new baseball stadium. Host Aaron Sharockman offers the latest on the issue, focusing on the impact to taxpayers, the evolution of the Rays’ proposal and the politics unfolding behind the scenes.
He invites your feedback, questions and suggestions. You can e-mail asharockman@sptimes.com or call 727-892-2273.
At least the Trop isn't called the Tampa Tribune Dome like the idiotic St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa.

If it weren't for C-ring, it'd be a non-issue. D ring is a obviously a homer, A and B never get hit.
Otherwise I like the stadium.

Dome sweet Dome, makes you want to stick a straw in it when it's illuminated orange at night.
