Gorham gathers endorsements

Hillsborough County school board candidate Stephen Gorham continues to rake in endorsements. The latest came Wednesday evening when the county's Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered and Allied Democratic Caucus put their support behind him. And they did so just moments after his opponent, Carol Kurdell, a 16-year veteran of the school board, made a pitch to the group.  On Tuesday, the East Hillsborough Democratic club endorsed Gorham for the non-partisan post.

Gorham also has the backing of the Hillsborough Schools Employees Federation, the Hillsborough County Classroom Teachers Association, the Central Labor Council and school board member April Griffin.

Go Stephen go!

Stephen will bring needed fresh and energetic ideas and actions to our school board.

You're on a great roll Stephen and it leads to a seat on the School Board! I know you'll do a great job!

As a parent and PTA member, I trust Stephen to be at the School Board working for our children and educators.

As we've seen these past years, the School Board should be paying more attention to the classroom, rather than Who's Who when it comes to contracts.

As the husband of a teacher, Stephen knows what effort, dedication and personal sacrifice our teachers make for their students.

Stephen Gorham for Hillsborough School Board!

I have two elementary-school kids in the Hillsborough public school system, and I trust that Stephen will make excellent and much-needed decisions in the interests of Hillsborough County's kids and their families. He has worked in the educational field for years, and knows the ins and outs of budgetary as well as technological needs of keeping our school system's resources up-to-date and on the cutting edge.

He and his wife (a teacher in Hills. County) have two young children themselves, and will put the best interests of our children as well as their own first and foremost. I'll support Stephen Gorham this coming election, and hope you will too. :)

"Stephen will bring needed fresh and energetic ideas and actions to our school board."

this, after..."Gorham also has the backing of the Hillsborough Schools Employees Federation, the Hillsborough County Classroom Teachers Association, the Central Labor Council "

fresh ideas? union? in the same sentence?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Omega83 - I know Stephen, and he really does bring fresh thinking and energy. The long-time incumbents and the superintendent have set the performance bar so low that you can have "fresh ideas" just by knowing how to read a contract to keep from getting screwed, and look energetic by not bloviating aimlessly for ten minutes without saying anything. With him you get much, much more.
