Obama's new Tampa Bay offices
The Barack Obama campaign is set to formally open a Clearwater campaign office - 133 N Fort Harrison Ave - tomorrow afternoon, and a St. Pete field office - 2321 Central Ave (super convenient to the only spot we know of where naked, deaf guys dangle from the ceiling) - Wednesday afternoon. That brings to four the number of field offices in Tampa Bay, and by our count, 13 in Florida: Those two in Pinellas; two in Tampa; one in Sarasota; Hollywood; Homestead; Naples; Fort Lauderdale; Gainesville; Miami Gardens; Fort Myers; Jacksonville.
John McCain and the RPOF also have two offices in Pinellas and two in Hillsborough, and one in Pasco

"Barack Obama is committed to the state of Florida and we continue to open offices statewide as we assemble the largest campaign team Florida has ever seen," Florida State Director Steve Schale said. "We want to hear from Florida's communities and give our grassroots volunteers the support they need to bring change we can believe in to Florida."

Clearwater office seems very convenient for Obama campaign outreach to Scientology community. Wonder if that's a coincidence?

And what was your point about mentioning "super convenient to the only spot we know of where naked, deaf guys dangle from the ceiling"? To formally acknowledge that the St. Petersburg Times no longer is a great paper? Thank you, Mr. Tash, for ushering in this era. We who are about to die salute you.

The Scientologists have about 3K+ voters in Pinellas. That may be why Obama is there.

Reaching out to any religious community is equally insane.
L. Ron Hubbard's vision of outer space aliens is somehow more rediculous than creating all of the Earth in seven days?
A fairy tale is a fairy tale.

It is very ignorant to assume all religious people believe the earth was created in seven days. Nice sweeping generalization there. I would say that qualifies you as being religion-ist.

Gotta love how Obama has managed to hoodwink the masses (at least the Democratic ones) into following his "Change" theme like lemming. As if he was the first to use this theme. Anyone remember Charlie Crist's signs when he first ran for State Senate? They read "The Choice for Change". In fact, you will find candidates who use this theme every election cycle.
If one listens carefully to Obama it is true that he is offering change. But to what? You will see many parallels to the failed policies of Jimmy Carter is you listen closely. Not something I want to go back to.
