Party oaths lead to ruckus, Pasco-style

As the deadline to make the ballot neared, disaffected Republicans tried to get Pasco County Chairman Bill Bunting to sign their loyalty oaths. They couldn't find him. As it turned out, they needed those oaths to plant the seeds of mutiny against Bunting. What gives?

Bill and Ann Bunting keep their cronies close by telling them lies and keeping them away from the good Republicans in the area and loyal to them. It is time for all Pasco Republicans to contact Governor Charlie Crist (Charlie.Crist@myflorida.com) and demand the removal of these two for life from the Republican Party. They were removed for this once before but they did not learn their lesson and it is long overdue to disenfranchise the Buntings from the political process. Bill's parting statement in the linked article is so transparent you can tell he's mad that Steve Graves isn't a puppet of his who will help him cover up his tracks on his criminal activities. Many thanks to Steve Graves, John and Judy Kennedy, and Dan Meahl for all telling the truth and helping to uncover this web of deception!

Ann Bunting states in this article that Dan Meahl hasn't done anything for Republicans through the Committee. Well of course he hasn't with you and your husband running it like the Gestapo how could he. But it's a disingenous statement nonetheless. Dan Meahl was the Gallagher Chairman for Pasco during the last Governors race. Why don't you tell the truth Ann or is it impossible at this point? He works for Republicans in spite of you and that's what really gets to you!

Bill Bunting says in this article that he never told Steve Graves that he wouldn't accept two of the loyalty oaths. Isn't it just a little bit too much of a coincidence that these two names are included in the names that he wants removed? Then Bill states that he questions the sincerity of people and that they are new. Oh my God, don't you know your supposed to want the party to grow Mr. Chairman? Not to mention that that dog don't hunt. There are quite a few names on his list for exclusion that are already members of the Republican Executive Committee. Time to go Bunting for you and your wife. If you and your wife had any dignity/ethics you would have already resigned.

If not working with the committee for a period of time is grounds for this kind of treatment than I guess the Chairman's wife Ann should be removed along with the hand picked crony Lona O'Reilly who is running for State Committeewoman. Neither of these women has been involved with the local party or done anything for years. Then when they finally did they seem to run things. It's insulting to all of us on the REC who have been faithful throughout. These two women who have been invisible now come in and dictate to us who have been working the whole time. It's time for the Buntings to go and their cronies will follow behind them. Na-Na-Na-Na-Hey-Hey-Goodbye!

Ann Bunting - Republican Leader? Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha, I almost choked on my coffee when I read that. What a joke!

Are we sure that they didn't mistakenly interview Bill Clinton for this article and not Bill Bunting? I don't remember, I never said that, he's a puppet...next he'll be issuing statements like I was only mentoring her and I did not have sexual relations with that woman...We didn't know that we had our own Bill & Hillary here in Pasco but it is very apparent now. Change back to your old party Mr. & Mrs. Bunting - the Dem's miss you and your politics of personal destruction.

Bill Bunting has been in power too long. Being a hard working republican volunteer is not good enough in Pasco.
You must get along with Bill & never question him about any of his dealings.
Dare to do so & you will be sent packing with the understanding that your service to the party is no longer needed.
Absolute power currupts absolutely.

I'm posting the letter from Chairman Bunting to Supervisor of Elections Brian Corley so that all of the disenfranchised will know they are being excluded. No letter was sent out to notify them of it and who knows they probably turned in their loyalty oaths from the sounds of that article and the Chairman must have misplaced them, but I'm sure he won't be able to remember. The letter was as follows:

Dear Supervisor Corley,

In conjunction with the candidates seeking the office for precinct, district or state Committeeman or committeewoman, who may have submitted to your office a Florida Department of State Loyalty Oath, I as Chairman of the Pasco Republican Executive Committee am required by Party rule to determine if such candidates are qualified to hold the Party offices they seek.

In accordance with such responsibility and the Party's ability to determine any and all office qualifications and eligibility, I have determined that the following individuals are not eligible to hold office due to their failure to submit the RPOF Loyalty Oath as State Party rules require, by the close of qualifying on Friday, June 20, 2008.

Therefore, you may wish to consider tht the following individuals' names not be placed on the ballot for the primary election on August 26, 2008.

Sincerely,
Bill Bunting
Chairman

Committee men and woman (by state law and RPOF rules) are responsible for filing their papers and if they do not it is not buntings fault that they can not read or that they are to lazy to call their SOE. they can re join the REC in January 09. You digruntled people that do nothing for anyone except for whats in it for you will not bully Bill bunting around!!!

Live with it!

1:51 you're a sycophant, look it up in the dictionary, I'm sure you'll have no idea what it means. The Kennedy's did turn in their paperwork, Dan Meahl and the others did turn in theirs. The Chairman is trying to rig the election in his own neighborhood. Did you not read the story or is the problem that you have no ability to comprehend? They all filed with the SOE and they all attempted to turn in their loyalty oaths. Do you not get that the Vice-Chairman was the acting Chairman the night of the REC meeting and he accepted them? Do you not get that the Chairman drove away from a person who was attempting to turn in their oaths at 4:25 pm on the day of the meeting? Do you not get that the Chairman purposely missed the meeting in order not to take possession of oaths from people he knew were running against him in his own precinct? Do you not get that if he doesn't win the election in his own neighborhood that he is not eligible to run for Chairman again? Do you not get that he is running for State Committeeman to resign and put a lapdog in the position? Do you not get that he will then run for Chairman again? Do you not get that not all current REC members were contacted with how to file for membership? Do you not get that this man is corrupt and will do anything to keep power? Do you not get that him rigging it in this fashion leaves all of these people unable to vote on the leadership of the party in December? You need to look deep within yourself because the way you have responded to absolute dishonesty is very telling about you as a person. Out with the Buntings and all of their cronies, yourself included! Your own posting proves you follow what your told and do not think for yourself, that's a good dog.

Take heed DiMatteo..best change your ways boy! And your little dog neil..too. cause he aint gonna be a commissioner and he will soon be wihtout options on the pcrec!

I am a current R. E. C. member.I have not had a disagreement with Chairman Bunting. He has decided that I am not a good Republican. I am no longer welcome to work for canidates in Pasco County. He used to stand in front of the R.E.C. and praise me for my efforts it was quite embarrasing. Then I began to notice he wouldn't even thank me privately no acknowledgement what so ever. It has now got to the point that he can't even make eye contact with me. So I wasn't overly suprised when I didn't receive the loyality oath paperwork [several of us did not].This is the way Chairman Bunting gets rid of people through discouragment and rejection. I was an active volunteer when I first met Chairman Bunting. He asked me to join the R.E.C., I must confess it is the biggest pile of deadwood I've ever seen amassed. I didn't understand the point of being a part of such a large group with seemingly no adgenda month after month. I finally figured it out we are a great big ball bat that Chairman Bunting uses to maul people and organizations with.I'm afraid I was alittle slow on the uptake.I need to stick with just working for canidates I can support and believe in this is not allowed within the framework of the R.E.C..During our R.E.C. meeting 3mos. ago Chairman Bunting announced that some people will be able to volunteer which got a chuckle from several in the crowd. We had alot of canidates and elected officals in attendance that night. I thought to myself are they hearing this do they realize the volunteers are not being ulitized. Hey I Have a novel idea lets get us some Republicans elected. The Bible says that Satan is the accuser of the brethen. I say Bill Bunting is his TOOL spreading discouragement and rejection. I wonder if I'm even considered worthy enough to vote for John McCain for president. Perhaps Chairman Bunting would tell me to just stay home.

1:51: You are the shining example of the typical Bunting crony slave dog follower. Grab every crumb you can while you can, cause time's a runnin' out. You better go now you're master is calling!

We've all had it with you Buntings!
It's time for you to go and go now. Can't wait for the Victory Party!

You really can't dispute the huge numbers of people that are all saying the same things about Bunting, now can you? Does that not tell you something, doubters?

If you all take a look at precinct 27 you will find that VonBargen, Heather is Democrat. Bill Bunting is questioning her eligibility. Bill Bunting has stated in his letter to Brian Corley that he determined that the following individuals are not eligible to hold office due to their failure to submit the RPOF Loyalty Oath as State Party rules require, by the close of qualifying on Friday, June 20, 2008.
I am trying to figure out how he came up with VonBargen, Heather name? Maybe someone should contact Heather and asked? How can Heather VonBargen fill out and RPOF oath when she is not Republican?

7:36: Good job on the fact checking and good question!

Bill Bunting is not happy just disenfranchising Republicans apparently his dictatorship wants to rule all parties. What a nut job this guy is and what a joke.

Bunting will lose it all and probably go on a shooting rampage! lol

Nice.
lol I don't think so.
