New Tampa power player: Don Phillips

He may be the guy you know little about...but Don Phillips is increasingly a player in Tampa's political scene. Sometimes for the R's, and sometimes for the D's.

I knew Phillips was a power player when I saw him having lunch last year at Valencia Gardens with political activists Greg Truax and Andy Graham.

I know that lunch. Truax and Grahm invite a power guest of the week.

Truax is the player, Don told me he is running against Jim Greer for State Chair in FEbuary, that is why all of his activity in Hillsborogh, he wants to get Greers joband and get Marco in at Governor
