A passel of developers are hosting a fundraiser Oct. 23 for Hillsborough County Commissioner Brian Blair. Among those on listed on the invitation: Bing Kearney, Don Phillips, Lance Ponton, Ed Giunta, Mitchell Rice and Dick Greco. Republican Blair, a former professional wrestler and fitness club owner, is running for re-election against Democrat Kevin Beckner, a financial planner.

In your mailer you state you attended college, but did you graduate? Blair brags about his support of a $45 million tax cut, but when divided among all the homes in Hillsborough County, it doesn't amount to much. And Blair wouldn't take a pay cut to lower taxes even more. He says he does this "job out of love" but won't take a pay cut because it would be "taking food out of my children's mouths". Give me a break!

And for the record, we are all taxpayers - schmucko! But the biggest difference is those of us that want Blair out of office are SMART taxpayers who know quality when they see it.

That's it. I have read all those hate filled comments about Brian Blair and I can't take it anymore.

Just because Brian is bought and paid for by developers doesn't mean he that he doesn't have a heart. For example, this shows his love of money and his eagerness to please other grown men in a way that totally makes him look like a prostitute.

And another thing - just because Media Matters has documented his racial bias towards minorities when he appeared on a certain Faux News Channel, does not necessarily mean that he hates all ethnic people. Just the ones that aren't willing to accept their place in his world as he dictates it. That's all.

Finally, we all have heard the rumors about him getting into a fight with a limo driver when he might have had too much to drink at a county sponsored Christmas (oops, I mean "holiday") party, a supposed police report about domestic violence when the cops were allegedly called to an ex-girl friend's house, and how is temper really does get the better of him doesn't mean that he is some hot-headed, emotional, erratic jock. It merely demonstrates his immense passion. You know, like Mel Gibson or Britney Spears.

Accused of domestic violence by beating a former girlfriend senseless and requiring a visit to the emergency room. (Hillsborough County Sheriffs report # 84-190164).
Perjured himself in a deposition in which he filed a frivolous slip and fall lawsuit alleging "career ending injuries". Unfortunately, the plaintiff had video of him wrestling in Japan 2 months after his "career ending" injuries. His excuse....."it was a singles match not a doubles match". How do you call life in a yellow bumblebee suit a "career"?

The guy was carried in on Bush's coattails and some dirty campaign tricks. Lets hope he is washed out on the Obama coattails.
