State Sen. Mike Fasano has found himself on the receiving end of a mailing attacking his record on insurance votes. The mailing strays from the facts, but it rankled Fasano not just because he's on the Nov. 4 ballot.

The group doing the mailing, Tell the Public the Facts, has one donation all year -- a $41,917 check from a company tied a longtime nemesis of Fasano, R-New Port Richey. Read more here.

This is like a badge of honor to have an attack mailing sent about you because of your work on holding Aloha Utilities responsible for the water hazard they inflict on all of their customers. Great job Fasano - keep up the good work!
