You've got until 7 p.m. to register to vote in Pinellas

Pinellas County SOE spokeswoman Nancy Whitlock said her offices have been busy handling a flood of would-be voters trying to make today's registration deadline. Whitlock said the three SOE offices, at 501 First Ave. N in St. Petersburg, 13001 Starkey Road in Largo and at 315 Court St. in Clearwater, will stay open until 7 tonight to handle the load. Although busy, Whitlock said there haven't been problems with long lines or backups.

Steve

Geez! When I first read this, I thought it meant that I could register until October 7th! That'll teach me to READ!

Me

I work at a library, where people can turn in their voter registration forms, and at any given time today we had 10 people standing at the counter filling out forms. Talk about waiting til the last minute people, how long have you known about this election??

I hope someone at that library takes the voter registrations to one of the three SOE offices before 7 p.m., or 13 minutes from now.

SHERIFF

Vote Jones for Sheriff!!

Randall Jones is a thuggish idiot
