Baker: Jeb would be good for the country

ST. PETERSBURG -- Mayor Rick Baker said he is excited about the prospect of Jeb Bush running for U.S Senate.

"It would be good for the country," he said, adding that Bush would likely become the voice of the nation's conservative movement if elected.

"Good for the country?" What the h*ll has he been smoking? He's obviously not feeling the effects of GOP/Jeb! rule like the rest of us.

"During his eight-year reign as governor of Florida, Jeb Bush fashioned an economic time bomb. On his way out the door he lit the fuse. His handiwork will soon devastate this state and visit unprecedented suffering on its people. It will be a nightmare, part of which will imperil the public schools, the operation of local governments and the state retirement system."

None of them feel the effects

Remember, he just was in New York parading around head and shoulders above everyne else just to be seen.

And when you really think about it, he just might be right, if Jeb is the only alternative to Sarah "I was so planning for a D.C. wedding, sigh" Palin.

Mayor Rick Baker said he is excited about the prospect of Jeb Bush running for U.S Senate.

Mayor Rick Baker also said he has seen "no evidence of Amscot preying on poor people."

Please tell me we're throwing out all the Republicans with the bail out bath water!

Baker -- go away.

jeebus, baker --- you DO realize that the only one listening to you is charlie crist?? And that won't last forever.
You're yesterday's news.

As if we needed to guess what side your bread is buttered on.
If you stood six feet tall before you made this comment you are not two foot eleven.
EVERYONE: Let's IGNORE BAKER and his idiotic remarks about the fat younger brother who would be boy king.
NO MO BUSHES. PERIOD

Don't forget that Baker and his mini-me clones on the City Council are all in favor of stealing Tierra Verde's land so some developers can get around the development rules TV had. Baker and Bush are, to coin a phrase, thick as thieves.
