Bill Foster must be a Jeb! fan

Bill Foster is out with a mailer this week touting his Police Benevolent Association endorsement as well as his much talked about Foster Formula. Foster, a former City Council member and attorney, has also decided to use an exclamation point behind his name just like former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

We at Bay Buzz love the use of exclamation points!

See it here.

The endorsement of the Police Benevolent Association, that is the best reason not to vote for BILL FOSTER. Where are the police? They only take complaints over the phone and they do not come out on calls. Take the police cars away and let the cops walk down to BAY WALK on the weekends.

Hi Liz

Liz,

Not sure if you have been paying attention to anything. You really should before you cast your vote. Bill wants to bring back community policing and change things to be safer. Everyone else will keep it the same as it is. You may want to rethink your vote if your not happy with the way things are. Study the Foster formula before voting. You want to get it right!

DORK!

DORK!

Zen Master

1:21 The real Liz lives in Texas now. She can't vote in St. Pete elections.

I don't think it's the real Liz.

Pleassssse

foster says he will keep Harmon- yeah great lots of change there! In fact, at the same forum he says, I won't tell the chief how to do his job, and then 10 minutes later, I will be the Top Cop.
Community policing??? What the hell is that? I am going to put my trust in a person who is a Volunteer to keep me safe?
There are a few other candidates who would like to really change things up and they are NOT in the Foster Formula.

NE stpete

1:21. Larry Williams is also in favor of community policing. Fyi when Larry was on city council he helped start the community policing and since he left office they have all went away. Since that time Bill Foster has been on city council and did not do anything to help keep the community policing. Now he is up for election and now wants this????

idiots

larry couldn't start community policing any more than foster could have prevented its demise. we have this thing called a charter and it defines the roles of mayor and councilman. its on line and worth reading before you make stupid posts.

Pelican Pete

Aaron!,

I like exclamation points too!

But if you take a close look at the mail piece, you will notice that several questions are asked on one side and are answered on the other with Bill Foster!

or maybe you are right about the JEB! thing.

Dear Pleassse,

You clearly don't know what community policing is. That assumes your are a Gibbons fan. Community police are paid officers assigned to your area and held responsible to the community for any challenges the area has. It is a great way to connect the city with the community. Worth the cost or reallocation of funds.
