Steve Kornell raises $26k in council race
ST. PETERSBURG-- City Council candidate Steve Kornell says he raised $26K, which is more than some mayoral candidates are reporting.
UPDATE: Kornell also picked up an endorsement from the Suncoast Sierra Club.

What does it matter to you? So you can possibly try and get cozy with Kornell and offer your superb consulting service? Or just steal his money? Do some real work dude.

Yeah, so I can cozy up to his cute a** and then steal all of his money. That was it.

Lipinski deserves props for this - he has been relentless

Foster raised 44K, best of 2nd quarter.
Foster vs. Ford in run-off. Put it down.

Great job to Steve Kornell, Steve Lapanski, Mike Fox, and the whole Kornell team!!!

The fact that a non incumbent, non appointed council candidate has raised this amount of $ (prior to the primary) should wake up the rest of you sleepy heads. General is going to cost a lot more.

Good for you, Steve. That'll show what hard work and a good message can produce. This will make it an interesting race.

Has Kornell even drawn a competitor? I heard Angela R. was running but no one has seen, or heard from her! I guess she is too busy blogging with Peter, to run a campaign.

Steve Kornell is an excellent candidate, one who cares about people and doing what's right, not politically expedient. Way to go, Steve.

Hey sports fans, how many endorsements are registered to vote? How many members of an organization vote in accordance with the organization's endorsement?
Endorsements are about smoke blowing, that is, the extent to which one candidate is able to blow more blue colored smoke up the boards a... than the other. It is all such a sham.
It really comes down to organization Cristina.

Hey, "attentive 1" -- it takes an organization to raise more funds and secure more endorsements than any other council candidate -- including incumbents.
As for your moronic statement about members voting in accordance with endorsements -- a whole lot more than you apparently think. Not only that, a whole pack of non-members pay attention to those endoresments, too.
Get a fricken clue... oh, and pay attention!

I'm with Samm. The Steves and the Fox have outdone themselves. And the Sierra endorsement is icing on the cake, attentive 1. It is not an endorsement from a sports club, it is from an organization whose members are extremely involved with the survival of the planet, and who therefore are more inclined to vote their core beliefs.

This guy has my vote.

The Sierra Club endorsement is as usless as whale sh_t.

Hey, he's got the Sierra Club endorsement. If it is worth nothing, so be it. But if it is worth something, he's got it and his opponents don't. It's really that simple.
Given a choice, I think any campaign would rather have it, don't you? If Rouson had it, she'd probably be grateful, and rightfully so.
So, Attentive 1, where you're campaign advice is concerned, I think it is safe to say that you can go pound sand.

undecideds can easily be swayed by endorsements.
