Helm, Diviki and Danner submit treasurer's reports in St. Petersburg elections

ST. PETERSBURG -- A handful of candidates did not submit their treasurer's report to City Hall by 5 p.m. Friday, but at least two met the state guideline by mailing their reports.

Here are their totals:

Mayoral hopeful Ed Helm raised $1,265 and spent $3,610.25. He loaned himself $50. His overall kitty totals $12,720. He faxed his report to City Hall at 10:45 p.m. Friday. The faxed report did not include itemized contributions or expenditures. He also mailed in his complete report Friday to meet the state deadline.

In the District 4 race, printer Jason Diviki turned in his report Monday morning. He collected $115 and spent $0. He has collected $795 this year. The City Clerk's office said it appeared Diviki did not meet the Friday deadline and could face state fines.

In the District 8 race, City Council member Jeff Danner didn't raise or spend any cash. He has raised $790 to date. The City Clerk's office said Danner met the Friday deadline by mailing in his report.

Ok-so one candidate couldn't be bothered to remember the due date of the finance report? Nice-.
