Latvala launches Senate campaign Web site
Republican Jack Latvala unveiled his campaign Web site today in his bid to return to the Florida Senate.
The site is done by Americana Media Consulting, owned by former Jeb Bush aide David Bishop in Tallahassee.
Latvala faces Democrat Nina Hayden in 2010 for the District 16 seat held by Sen. Charlie Justice, D-St. Petersburg, now a candidate for Congress.

According to the Saintpetersblog, Latvala was also endorsed by the Mayors of Oldsmar, Clearwater, Safety Harbor, and Pinellas Park. And that is in addition to Rick Baker in St. Pete.

Hayden will have to answer for the problems with the Pinellas education system. Example: poor teacher morale, wasteful spending, terribly run charter schools like Imagine and Plato receiving taxpayer dollars instead of being shut down.

Nine (it’s all about the kids... well, for 8-months at least) Hayden can't answer for those problems because she never intended to address them in the first place, and she’s clueless. Nina Payday, Charlie Justme, Chuck Crist and their ilk are interested in one thing and one thing only... what’s in it for me. Exactly how many taxpayer funded retirement plans do these people need?
The fact that Nina was malleable enough to be duped into playing Thurmans’ seat trade sacrifice, tells me she doesn’t belong near any government operation; we’re filled up with incompetent puppets as it is.

Latvala is everything that is wrong with politics and government. He's in it for himself. I'm a conservative Republican. He makes me sick.

Latvala in it for himself.
Nina Payden in it for herself.
Why do the democrats NEVER have any real candidates????????????
Thank party leaders.

9:59, perhaps... but they wont support them and they'll all lose. Where are all the local loyal elected Dems backing Hayden?
Hayden = Ford Part Duex!

10:11-
Maybe they aren't supporting her because she served on the School Board for 6 months before running for Senate.
Or maybe because she only raised 5k in her first quarter and she is not qualified to be a Senator.
Why bother backing someone just because she is a democrat? They know she will lose... and lose bad.

...good points all

It will be intersting to see if Nina Hayden or Mary Russell has a worse showing on election day. Who talked these two in to running?
Posted by: Who is the biggest loser? | December 31, 2009 at 01:10 PM
Hayden will lose huge, but Russell will be a sleeper in this... waaaatch!
