For one day in late last month, Downtown Tampa was transformed into bicycle heaven.
Hundreds of Cyclists descended on Lykes Gaslight Park on March 21 to participate and watch the Tampa Twilight Critereum.
Fellow blogger Tristan Wheelock and I collaborated to create a video project on the event:


Wow. That would have been cool watching the cyclists go by. About how many mph do you think they were going?

Nice work, guys!
Kimberly, the Cat 2/3s and pros were hitting speeds upwards of 30MPH on the straightaways...it was intense! I got to watch about 2 hours of racing action that day, and it was a fantastic success. Kudos to WAM and the Tampa Downtown Partnership for pulling off this incredible event!!!
