Customer shoots holdup man

South Florida recently has had several cases of convenience store clerks shooting holdup men. If that weren't warning enough to would-be robbers, a customer fatally shot a robber who was beating a female store clerk with a bottle in Ocoee, OrlandoSentinel.com reported.

When the clerk began screaming, the customer, whom police identified only as "Christopher," ran out to his car, grabbed a gun and returned to shoot the robber.

The incident happened at a Kangaroo gas station before 11 p.m. Monday.
