i thought this book was amazing. it wasn't only the story, but how the author presents it. he basically talks to you like you would talk to a friend. it can also be a very funny book at times.

Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie was good and fun at the begining of the book. In the middle of the book it got sad because the main character's little brother got very sick. It kept my attention all the way through the book.

This great book showed what it would be like if a catastrophe
struck your family, and emotions that would be going on if that happened. The main character, (narrator), really does have a funny way of putting things, and you could picture him really easily. The author also has their own original way of writing that I thought was very interesting. The ending was a definite tear-jerker, and in a good way! You absolutely should read this book!

this book was very sad!
but still was good! it almost made me want to cry at a point!
but i like how the author really makes the emotions in the book seem so real!!!
very well written!

This book was so wonderful and touching, I will never forget it.

Drums, Girls and Dangerous Pie was a really touching story. Steven's younger brother Jeffrey was diagnosed with a type of blood cancer and has to go through a lot of painful and expensive therapy. It made me really think about what the young kids that have been diagnosed with cancer have to go through.
