This book was fantastic. It made me remember how hard it is for some people in America, like the transfer to the country. I remembered that some people have to make money in any way possible to support your family. I loved it when Michael nailed that kid all the way from the field.

I think that the point of this book was really good! You could see how hard that migrant people have it here sometimes! The characters in this book were very believable! 3/5 stars for this book!

Heat was a fantastic book!I couldn't put this book down when i started reading it.Michael sure has an awesome pitching arm for a kid.this is a really great book and i would like to read another book by Mike Lupica!

I absolutley LOVED this book. the plot made me beg for more and the characters were sooooooo realistic. I especially liked the part when Michael got El Grande's attention by singing Misifuz the cat. I also liked when he and Manny found out Ellie was El Grande's daughter. WHAT AN AWESOME BOOK!!!!!

I liked the book. It was cool when Michael pegged that kid but my favorite character really was Manny. He was funny. Michael really had a hard time in life when his dad dies and he gets kicked off the team but he lived it. He must be really be good to live it.

I think that heat is a really awesome. I really injoyed the background of the book and it interested me on how bad there life but still fowlled there dreams.

I thought that the book HEAT was increadable. The journy that Michael goes through is couragous.

I think that the book heat is very interesting and it was really cool how it talks about New York. I think it was sad that Michael's dad died and how he told the woman to keep Michael and his brother Carlos together. It was really amazing of the journey that Michael went through during the story.

Heat had really unexpected twists and turns. It's a great book to read, especially if your a baseball fan. It was really sad too read about Michael dealing with his dad situation but in the end, everything turned out great. I really loved this book and I'd reccomend it to everyone.

We've have some serious heat going on! In this suspencful fiction book, Miguel (Micheal) Arroyo has an awesome fireball arm. With it, Micheal is throwing 80mile-an-hour fastballs. With his pitching on a little-league team, Micheal likes to escape the problems of reality through baseball. Ever since his dad died, his brother, Carlos (17) must take upon himself new and demanding responsibilities. However, Micheal's little world comes crashing down and things are getting very complicated. What is Micheal going to do?!
