How would you feel if you were being forced to attend an acadamy where there is only one teacher who insults and punishes you for every little thing. Even more, being forced to be away from your home where you're seriously needed. Of course, it isn't so bad when there is a huge possibility that you might get to meet a real life prince! Funny, and reflective as a mountian girl tries her best to become a princess in time.

Full of hard decisions, and not sure what she wanted, Miri was a very cool character. This book was funny, and sightly sad. I really liked it, especially the idea of quarry-speech. I read it twice because I liked it so much! 5/5 stars!

I loved the character development in this book, especially that of the tough tomboy, Miri, who is sent to Princess Academy training. The book is almost fantasy fiction, but not too much to make it unrealistic.

Miri is a very strong girl. She had many painful and risky decisions to make. I was amazed how she handled the bandit with the linder hawk. Britta deserved the prince, but I was puzzled about her secret. This is an awesome book and I will reccomend it to all of my peers. 30/10 stars according to me!

When I borrowed this book from my school media center I was told this book was suppost to be a girly book. It was a girly book because it was about mountain girls studying hard to be a princess, but I believe any boy would of liked it as much as I did. It wasn't the best book I have ever read, but it got my attention.

Princess Academy is wonderfully exciting story about a young girl named Miri. She must leave her home town, Eskel, with all of the other teenage girls to attend an academy where they all have to learn how to act like a true princess. The girls have to make life changing decisions, leave their family and friends, and study everything needed to become a princess while waiting for Prince Steffan to arrive and choose his future wife. Talk about stressful! This book is one of my favorites and I enjoyed every second of it.

As soon as I saw the title, I thought this was going to be a boring book. I was wrong. Princess Academy had me putting the book down, only to pick it right back up again. It was so good!!!

this book was long and had to be the longest book i have ever read and I thank shannon hale for letting me reach my goal to finish the book. this book was very discribtive I liked this book it was very romantic at the end. keep those books coming shannon hale.
