Imagine reality TV as your school...brick schools are closed due to a lack of funding. Kids are selected to participate and then others watch as they try to duplicate a doomed expedition to the South Pole. It's cold, it's exciting; it's the past meeting the future and it's good!

Think about what it would be like if your education was determined by the toss of a dice. Very scary. Now think about what it would be like traveling with other people you don't really like in the Antarctic.

I loved the book and at some points it was boring but over all the book was great I loved the fact that they had the brains(polly)The leader(robert)the wanna be(Billy)the caare taker(grace my favorite character) and the quiet yet efficent one(andrew) I would recommend this book to anyone

I am jason H a boy in New River Middle sixth grade. I read your book for a school project and found it really intriguing. I will recomend it to everyone who wants to read a good book.

The book was exciting 99.9 percent of the time. At certain times for example chapter two the meeting seemed very pointless. The charters where interesting. It would really be awesome if shcool on T.V.

Because I am a "Survivor" (TV show) fan, I loved this book. It was science fiction-like but not in a space alien way. The book reminded me of the book 1984 or The Giver with the futuristic themes. Will Big Brother or the Secretary be in our future? This book makes me wonder...

Surviving Antarctica was so suspenseful! I couldn't put the book down. There were some incredibly scary parts that had me wide eyed while other parts were so sad. There were twists and turns while the fourteen year old kids tried to survive on their own in the middle-of-nowhere, Antarctica. It's one of my favorites.

i really liked it it was ok but not my kind of books sorry, but i didnt like it.
