The Blue Ghost by Marion Dane Bauer (Grades 3-5)

Liz’s grandmother is preparing to sell her old cabin, a place that has seen many generations.  Liz comes to help her grandmother and she awakens one night to see a mysterious blue light that becomes the ghostly figure of a woman. Liz   hears voices coming from the walls, which Liz can step through to go back in time. On the other side of the walls, she meets a family of children, in need of help.  Liz finds the connections between the past and the presence. This book is a mystery. I like how she didn't know how to take care of a baby ,but she still helped the girl to make the baby beter.I think she is a good person and that she would have been a good mother if she was alive and I think it is a good story!

The Blue Ghost is a good story cause the girl got really scared and the ghost came out the wall. That would scare me too! And the story is interesting and has alot of good parts. I Like the part when the girl was scared when the ghost came cause it kind of scared me. Its so iteresting.

I enjoyed the book very much.It was very interesting.My favoriate part of the story is when the girl saw a ghost walked into her bedroom wall.It was fun when my teacher read the Blue Ghost.When my teacher stopped at the scary part I wanted my teacher to read more.When I heard that the ghost walked into the wall I jumped in excitement.I just wanted to hear more until the end.I was very into the story.This was the best book I ever heard of.Thats all I wanted to say!Bye Bye

I relly enjoyed lissing to my teacher read the blue ghost it relly help us in Vocabulary. It was a big misstory and gest WHAT one of our words wear misstory evdents and most of every thing els that are misstory words.It had its ups and downs scary parts wondring parts and litte sad parts .But at the end it ternd out all good and also my notice carrictour wear lizs .I love the book.

I wasn't too fond of the Blue Ghost. It was a short, okay read. I found it kind of funny when the grandma cried after they opened up the chest, just because she was dissapointed that there was nothing very valuable in the chest. The illastrations of the baby were adorable though. It got more interesting torward the end though, I would not discourage you to read it or anything, I just didn't find it too be the best book of the sunshine statebooks.
