The Thing about Georgie by Lisa Graff (Grades 3-5)
Nine-year-old Georgie is a dwarf and feels as though he does not fit in with his schoolmates. Have you ever felt as though you did not fit in with other people? Look for an article in the St. Petersburg Times that illustrates an example of someone not fitting in. Think of five things this person can do to better fit in with the crowd.

I liked when he calls the baby, Baby Godzilla. I liked when Jeanie the Meanie called her brother Fart Face. The book is so humorous. I like how the book relates to other books I have read, and I think they will get together again as friends in the end.

I absolutely loved this book! One of the reasons is because thre is no other book like it. It's very interesting how it shows the struggles Georgie goes through as a dwarf.
