Armed robber hits USF Starbucks
TAMPA -- University of South Florida police are searching for a man they say robbed the campus library's Starbucks late Tuesday.
Police said a clerk, Gabriel Brown, was counting Tuesday’s cash at 11:19 p.m. when an armed man entered a back door of the coffeehouse and ordered him to the ground.
Brown told investigators the man struck him in the back of the head and ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police are searching for a black male who was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with white writing, green pants and a blue backpack.
