St. Pete Company Buys Kentucky Voice and Data Firm

Brookside Technology Holdings Corp., a St. Petersburg-based holding company, today announced that it had completed the acquisition of U.S. Voice and Data LLC of Louisville, Kentucky. USVD is a regional provider of telecommunication services. It had un-audited revenue of $15.3-million for the twelve-month period ending Aug. 31, and audited 2006 revenue of $12.1-million.

Brookside, though Midtown Partners & Co. LLC and LCG Capital, raised approximately $11-million, including $8-million of senior and subordinated debt and $3-million of equity, to assist with the sale.
