2-year-old found dead in crib

A 2-year-old girl was found dead in her crib today, Pasco Sheriff’s Office officials say. Deputies are investigating the death of the child, whose family lives at 8914 Whistler Way in Bayonet Point. 

The parents said they put the baby in the crib Tuesday night and woke up this morning to find her  unresponsive and not breathing, according to initial reports. Pasco Fire Rescue responded and then contacted the Pasco Sheriff’s Office once confirming the baby's death.
