Hogan: Wife can support herself
Terry Bollea, widely known as wrestler Hulk Hogan, filed a counter-petition to his wife's divorce suit Thursday, contesting his wife's custody and alimony claims.
The high-profile couple have been married for 23 years. But newly released court documents said they separated a month after their son Nick Bollea's Aug. 26 car wreck, which left his passenger, John Graziano, critically injured.
Hogan's attorney, Ann Loughridge Kerr in Clearwater, declined to comment.
In her divorce petition, Linda Bollea seeks an unspecified amount of alimony and child support. She also is seeking custody of their 17-year-old son, subject to "liberal visitation" with his father. Terry Bollea countered that his wife is capable of supporting herself and helping to support their son. He also said Nick Bollea is old enough to decide with whom he wants to live.
New court documents were were released in Bollea's criminal case, including an interview with Debra Graziano, John Graziano's mother. In a deposition, she said Nick Bollea told her he lost control of the car when he hit a puddle and hydroplaned.

Way to go Hulk! That woman can't even balance a check book and would be NOTHING financially without you. Why should she get half? Is it because she's a woman????

To Frank:
"Again, how is this news?"
It's news because some of us want to read it and their is so much capacity for news (print, TV, Internet) that there is plenty of space for stories like this! If you don't like it, don't read it!!
Turn off your computer, go back to your coffee bar and read the comics!
I'll tell you what else would be news: That's if you shoved your face into a fan! Better yet, a prop or jet engine!!!
Have a good day, frank. You idiot!

You tell her Hulk!
I don't believe in alimony at all. When you are no longer my spouse. . I SHOULD'NT HAVE TO SUPPORT YOU!! I don't care if you've gotten accustomed to having a certain lifestyle. Once we're divorced, then you should be own your own! Sure, if kids are involved, I'll support them, but I shouldn't have to provide YOU with enough cash to continue to live as you did when you were married to me! Alimony should be banned.

I thought it odd she wants half of everything property, bank account-wise and then she wants support for her and someone who will be an adult by the time it is finalized. Wouldn't that mean more than half for someone who hasn't had a job since 1983? Good luck, Linda.

Does this mean Hulk is avaiable??? hmmm

should 'Wrestler' really be capitalized in the first sentence?

Good for Hulk. I think that fathers should support their minor children but I don't think alimony belongs in today's world, except possibility some help in cases of disability or poor health. She's not disabled. Let her work like the rest of us.

First you people "trash" the Hulk because he's a "bad" parent. Then you praise him for not giving his wife alimony! I can understand the child support since Nick is almost 18 anyways. In the state of Fla she will get Alimony beleive that! With the amount of money he made/makes! If K-FED can get it from Britney and they were only married ummmm what 2 yrs! Sorry guys but Linda does deserve alimony she was with him from the beginning of his career. She certainly deserves proceeds from their reality show as well! Sad to see what I saw was a happy couple getting divorced! But the law is the law!

He's a meathead and the primary cause of his son's behavior that resulted in a serious, lifelong injury. Sad part is he has been a "hero" to many young children. Think about it.
As far as the divorce issue, she probably shouldn't get so much. Who knows.

tell her to get a job. incredible she wants half and will most likely get it.

ummmm and if you have that kind of money and you marry and your worried about the other getting too much of your riches!! ONE WORD PRENUPTIAL!! If you don't protect yourself and your money then deal with what may happen when you get divorced!

Well, whatever happens, I hope Mean Gene Okerlund gets to interview both Hulk and Linda outside the courthouse! Now we have to ammend Hogan's Slogan to read, "SAY YOUR PRAYERS, EAT YOUR VITAMINS, SLOW DOWN, AND CAREFUL WHO YOU MARRY BRUTHA!!"
