House Destroyed, Dogs Safe After Fire
A house at 10004 E Emma Street caught fire around 8 a.m. Saturday morning, Tampa Fire Rescue spokesman Bill Wade said.
The fire was controlled in half an hour, and no one was home when it started, Wade said. Firefighters rescued two dogs from the house, who were uninjured.
The fire does not seem to be suspicious, Wade said, but did about $150,000 worth of damage to the Seminole Heights home. He said the house is probably a total loss.
The two dogs are being kept in a neighbor's yard until their owner returns, he said.
