Reward offered in Brandon nightclub shooting

BRANDON — Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay and the owners of nightclub Fluid are offering $6,000 for information leading to the arrest of Tyrone Lamont Grimes, 27, who is wanted in the Oct. 17 shooting death of Karen L. Williams at the nightclub.

Hillsborough County sheriff’s deputies say Grimes and another man were arguing at 1:25 a.m. that day when Grimes pulled a gun and fired into the crowd, killing Taylor, a 26-year-old mother of two from Riverview. Grimes, whose last known address is in Brandon, is 6 foot 1, weighs 250 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. Those with information on his whereabouts are asked to call 1-800-873-8477.
