Teen in pipeline incident gets a lawyer

TAMPA -- The attorney for Hulk Hogan’s son has a new client: the boy accused of puncturing an ammonia pipeline.

Tampa attorney Morris "Sandy" Weinberg Jr. is representing the 16 year old boy deputies say drilled into a pipeline Monday, unleashing a cloud of ammonia over Riverview.

Weinberg, a high-profile local attorney who also represents Hogan’s 17-year-old son Nick Bollea against charges in a traffic crash, declined to identify the teen in the pipeline case. Neither has the Hillsborough Sheriff's Office identified him. No charges have been filed.

Weinberg said he has represented the boy for "a couple of days." He is representing the boy and his family against potential criminal and civil matters. "We're just concerned about the well-being of the boy," Weinberg said. "He’s pretty seriously burned, but he's making progress."
