Port Richey woman, 29, killed in overnight crash

LAND O'LAKES -- A Port Richey woman was killed in a single-car crash along Interstate 275 early Monday, Florida Highway Patrol investigators said.

Tina M. Carbone, 29, 10927 Inglewood Ave., had been driving north on the interstate near mile marker 57 about 12:30 a.m. when she steered onto the shoulder then swerved back into the lanes before losing control, sending the 1995 Buick Le Sabre she was driving into a tree, the Highway Patrol said.

Carbone was pronounced dead at the scene.
