Bollea hearing delayed

CLEARWATER -- A pretrial hearing for Nick Bollea was delayed this morning until Feb. 6.

Bollea, the 17-year-old son of professional wrestler Hulk Hogan, is accused of reckless driving with serious bodily injury stemming from an Aug. 26 crash that left a close friend, Iraq war veteran John Graziano, with a serious head injury.

Graziano is at James A. Haley VA Medical Center in Tampa.

"Nick continues to focus on John's health, which is improving daily,'' said Bollea's attorney, Kevin Hayslett.

Why was Bollea pretrail delayed?
Seems some one is not on top of this.
So general a statement.

The law allows them to request the trial be put off to at least 1 year from infraction so delays are bound to happen when he knows his butt is going to get jail time but hopefully john graziano lives thru this accident that has taken his ability to return to the military ... and nick be prepared to be charged with vehicular homicide the day he dies even if it is 20 years from now he can be charged

Who cares if he can go back into the military again, that should be the least important of all. His ability to do something actually worthwhile like walk and live a normal life was taken.

He'll walk with probation, fines, community service, and loss of license for a time. No jail. Not in Pinellas, land of get-out-if-you-can-pay.

This is so typical of the court systems, delay delay delay...about every 6 weeks they ask for more time, and they get it, cause NOW Nick is the victim and according to the state of Florida rights, he has them all..the true victims are always passed by and told to get over it and move on...
Our prayers are with John G. and his family, while Nick and family parade around with all their money, no matter what choice John made that day to get in the car, Nick was the DRIVER and having that license to drive makes him responsible for his passengers...My family went thru this 5 years ago when a drunk driver killed my sister, 18 months of delays only to stall for more free time out for the defendant..its agony on a family..

... And when you are just about to run out of time, switch lawyers. Then you argue that your new lawyer needs time to prepare.. another great stall tactic.

Nick going to jail isn't going to help John walk again. Let the courts deal with it. We don't you getting your high horse because something happened 18 years ago. It was an accident that happened on a wet road. John was the adult and being the only adult he should have worn the seatbelt.
